Hello, I'm Sydney!

For over 14 years, I've held many titles in the animal care industry both in and out of the veterinary world. Animal behavior is one of my favorite topics and I am passionate about pet mental well-being and positive reinforcement training. 

In 2014, I graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Idaho.  Though my original life plan was to become a veterinarian, I've found that I enjoy spending quality 1-on-1 time caring for animals more than I enjoy diagnostics and surgery. One day I hope to open my own boarding facility specifically tailored for the comfort of felines.  

When I'm not at work, I am likely at home relaxing with my fiancé and our two cats, Data and Circuit. I enjoy crocheting, organizing, and watching Sci-Fi or ridiculous reality television shows. 

I'm excited to be on the Southcare Team working the front desk and ready to meet all my new favorite pet friends and their guardians. Yes, your pet is my favorite...just don't tell the others. 🙂
