Dr. Munday is a graduate of Washington State University and has worked inboth general practice and emergency care across the state of Washington,and is thrilled to be joining the excellent team at SouthCare.

Her love for animals began at a young age, caring for her family pets whilegrowing up in Montana. Dr. Munday’s first career was in environmentalscience and marine biology during which she had the opportunity to work withfish veterinarians, sparking her interest in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Munday enjoys the many varied things that being a Veterinarian entails -from routine care for dogs and cats, to urgent and emergent care. Her breadthof experience has allowed her to develop skills across this spectrum includingcaring for aging animals, surgery, and developing collaborative care planswith owners to the highest quality of care tailored to the specific needs andsituations of the pet and owner.

Dr. Munday and her family enjoy living in Spokane and can often be found inthe surrounding natural areas whether it’s cross-country skiing, a day hike,camping or walking around their neighborhood, all with their dog Zeke. Theyalso have a three-legged cat, Legolas, who appreciates the surroundingnatural beauty through windows and occasional supervised excursions intothe backyard, but much prefers the comfort of his “apartment” (cat tree) tointense outdoor activity.
