Joan Vendramin DVM

Dr. Joan Vendramin is a 1983 graduate of Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She holds an undergraduate degree in zoology, and has been a small animal practitioner in Spokane for many years.

After graduation, she worked at Manito Veterinary Clinic, Country Homes Veterinary Hospital, and Heart Arrow Veterinary Service.  In 1992, she opened Regal Veterinary Clinic on Spokane’s south hill.  At Regal, she led a full-service veterinary hospital, treating companion animals, including pocket pets. After several years as a solo practioner, and following the birth of her daughter, she sold Regal, and did relief veterinary work for several years.

Dr. Vendramin joined Southcare in 2006, where her special interest is geriatric medicine of dogs and cats.  Dr. Vendramin’s goal in veterinary medicine is to use the benefits of medicine and science to cherish and continue the human-animal bond. On her time off, she enjoys time with her daughter, Paris, as well as their beloved calico cat Popcorn.
